A child of wild things, I learned "no" early on, but paid little attention to the rules that would have kept me from riding my tricycle in the rain, or eating wild berries in the woods. "No" surely didn't apply to playing barefoot on the forest floor, building homes and altars for the wild flowers and ferns. Eventually, I learned manners and socialization, but to this day, I'm most at home in the holiness provided by wild places that remind me who and what I really am. Wild. Wise. Wonder-filled. Sending you love and goodwill, my friend. I loved your poem --it reminds me that I needed to learn to see myself as whole and complete in my own way, not someone else's.
A tremendous amount of work! WOW!
You just made my day. I cherish you.

"I am whole.
The gap you see
is your measuring."
So few words. Such a profound statement.
Thank you for giving the words landing most deeply for you back to me. I appreciate you and your words.
